What a beautiful day for an auction! The weather for this past Saturday's auction in Twin Bridges, Montana was awesome! The turnout was good even with the huge Twin Bridges -vs- Sheridan playoff football game going on right up the street. Unfortunately for Twin Bridges they lost to Sheridan in overtime ending an awesome and undefeated season. Congratulations are in order however for Sheridan and we wish you the best as you continue through the playoffs going hopefully all the way to win the state championship!
Bargains did abound at this auction as some very happy bidders took alot of quality collectibles home. Coin collectors were treated to the liquidation of an entire private coin collection. Dishware collectors went at it over a hard to find large "Fiesta" ware mixing/salad bowl which ended out at $185. We sold tools, guns, camping gear, vintage clothing, very nice antique furniture and even an old horse drawn wagon! As usual at Hagedorn Auction fun was had by all!
No auctions are being scheduled for November (Elk Hunting season!) or December (We wish you a blessed Christmas!). However we are planning a very high end antique and collectible auction for New Year's Day at the convention center of one of Bozeman's better hotels. More info will be posted in the upcoming weeks. Email us if you would like to recieve email updates as they are available. We hope to see you there!

Well this has been a busy month! As you know we had an auction in Philipsburg, Montana this past Saturday, Oct 20th. All in all it was another success in spite of the weather, which was less than cooperative during setup the week prior to the auction. Cold, blustery winds, rain and snow were the norm. The actual day of the auction was a little more cooperative with the sun showing up occasionally between snow showers. The buyers still showed up and were rewarded for their efforts to brave the elements. We auctioned a lot of really quality items (see auction flyer in past auctions section of this site). There were bargains to be had for the patient bidders. Mr. Joe Johnson, the owner of the Old Schoolhouse Museum where the auction was held, was a very gracious host! He even had an excellent pianist on staff all day playing inviting and festive tunes on his antique piano! What a treat that added a bit of warmth and lots of class to a quality auction! On behalf of the auction staff and all of our buyers we want to thank Mr. Johnson for his hospitality!
Don't forget we have another quality auction this Saturday, Oct 27 at the Madison County Fair Grounds in Twin Bridges, Montana (see flyer in upcoming auction section of this site). The weather is supposed to cooperate this weekend by being in the 50's. We will still have the heat going but you are advised to dress appropriately so that you will be comfortable. Remember you can always take what you have on off if need be. However, you can not put what you don't have on... Just good advice when attending any auction. We hope to see you soon!
